Jessica has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University (just outside of Portland, Oregon). Her interests include women's health, vestibular, orthopedics, and pediatrics.
Jessica is the author of Pain Free Running at Any Age (published in The Columbian, Clark County, Washington newspaper in 2012) and Progressive Resistance Training for Patients with High-Disability Multiple Sclerosis (peer-reviewed in 2015 in Portland, Oregon).
Jessica has trained under instructors for the Ola Grimsby Institute, North Orthopedic Institute, and is currently training in women's health areas such as pelvic floor rehabilitation and lymphedema treatment. She utilizes yoga and Pilates based exercises in her physical therapy treatment.
Jessica is a sub-4:00 marathon runner, yogi for life, organic gardening enthusiast, occasional back-up vocalist, Australian shepherd owner and baby-wearing mother.
